Stoke-on-Trent hospice hoping to raise thousands on Bring a Pound Day

A Stoke-on-Trent charity is hoping to raise thosands of pounds at an annual event.

Schools, businesses and local groups are collecting donations to support Douglas Macmillan’s Hospice’s Bring a Pound Day today (October 12).

Signal Radio presenters including Perry Spiller, Louise Stones and Simon Morykin will be visiting schools and organisations throughout the day.

Last year over 300 organisations across North Staffordshire raised more than £27,000 for the hospice.
