Jubilee picnic fun in Stoke-on-Trent

The Friends of Hanley Park are celebrating the Queen's Diamond Jubilee on Tuesday 5th June with a day packed with entertainment in Stoke-on-Trent's favourite park.

ParkLive! will be performing on Hanley Park's historic bandstand stage with music, dancing, storytelling and and poetry.

The day will begin at 11am and everyone is welcome to join in the fun and even perform to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II's 60 years in reign.

Entertainments and activities will include workshops for Zumba, bunting making and singing and there will be tea dancing from the 40's and the 50's on the bandstand.

People are asked to bring their own picnic, a tea cup for the tea party, something to sit on and to bring games to play with family, friends and neighbours.
